Flat Move, Then Storage — Stevenage

The challenge: The same Stevenage customer, twice. First we moved them out of a one-bed flat and into a second-floor two-bed apartment with a lift, splitting that job over two days so they had space to keep packing rather than racing a single van slot. Weeks later, once they had lived with the new place and worked out what they actually wanted to keep, the surplus needed to come out again — this time into a self-storage unit at Safestore in Stevenage.

The result: Phase one put everything into the new apartment, carried up via the lift and placed in the rooms the customer chose. Phase two cleared the overflow: loaded at the apartment, driven across town, then trolleyed through the facility corridors and stacked into the unit so the space was used properly rather than filled front-to-back. Two separate bookings, one team who already knew the building, the lift and the access — which is usually why customers call the same firm back for the second half of a move.
