Yes. Downsizing is one of the most common moves we do. We can split the load between the new property and a storage unit so you are not forced to decide everything on moving day.
Can the move be spread over more than one day?
Yes, and we often recommend it. Splitting a move over two days gives you space to keep sorting between loads instead of racing a single van slot.
Will you dismantle and rebuild furniture?
Yes. Beds, wardrobes and larger furniture are dismantled at collection and rebuilt in the room you choose at the new property, as standard.
Can you deal with a family member rather than me?
Of course. Many of these moves are arranged by a son, daughter or carer. Tell us who to speak to and we will keep them updated throughout.
Do you move into retirement flats and care homes?
Yes. These often have booking-in times, lift restrictions or loading bays that need arranging in advance — tell us at the quote stage and we plan around them.
