Four Loads, One Van — St Neots to Gamlingay

Service: House Removals
Area: Gamlingay

The challenge

A last-minute house move across Cambridgeshire, from St Neots to Gamlingay, with far more to shift than a single van load — four sofas, five beds, multiple desks and wardrobes. It was also a two-stage job: part of the contents was going into a storage unit while the rest went straight into the new house, both in Gamlingay. With the booking coming in at short notice, only one van was free for the day.

How it went

We ran the job as four return trips rather than turning it away or pushing it back. Each load was sorted before it left, so storage items went to the container and garage while house items were carried straight into the rooms the customer wanted them in — no second handling at the far end. The move was completed in the day, and the customer has already booked us for the second stage at the end of the month to bring everything out of storage and into the house.
