Senior & Downsizing Moves in Southwark: what to expect
Removals across Southwark cover Borough, Bermondsey, Elephant & Castle, Peckham, Camberwell and Canada Water. We book building-management loading slots and plan congestion-zone routing before quoting, dismantling and rebuilding furniture as standard.
Getting around Southwark
Borough, Bermondsey and the SE1 riverside are within or adjacent to the Congestion Charge Zone, and many residential streets have CPZ restrictions and loading windows. New-build blocks at Canada Water and Elephant & Castle require advance booking with building management, which we handle as a matter of course.
What's included with senior & downsizing moves in Southwark
No rushing
We work to your pace, not a stopwatch. Moves can be split across two days where that makes the day easier.
Beds built the same day
Beds and essential furniture reassembled and in place before we leave, so the first night is comfortable.
Storage for the overflow
Downsizing usually means more than fits. We can take the surplus to storage as part of the same booking.
Family kept in the loop
Happy to plan with sons, daughters or carers, and to give one clear point of contact throughout.
